Faversham Town U13s 4 v 1 Bearstead U13s
Faversham Town played Bearsted who hadn't been beaten in over 3 years. The first half wasn't great, Faversham Town rode their luck a little - being over run in midfield. The lads chased the ball instead of keeping their shape. This issue was addressed and Faversham went 1-0 up through Liam Druggan, only to have the lead to last a minute as Bearsted struck to make the game level at half time.
The second half started with Faversham Town closing the Bearsted team down quicker than in the first half which enabled them to score two well crafted goals via Harry Miller and Bruno Kingsland-Joy. Harry Miller concluded the scoring with a well taken free kick 5 minutes from time to send Faversham Town into round two. Ellis Wood made some crucial saves in both halves, Jonathan Tumber and Jack Osbourne were solid in the centre of defence. Samuel George was outstanding at left back.

Dartford U13s 0 v 1 Faversham Town U13s
A well rehearsed free-kick created by the inventive George "Elvis" Greenway and Adam Boswell enabled Liam Druggan to score the winner in this tense cup game against two well drilled teams.Faversham and Dartford played some attractive football with both sides unable to take the lead.
The Faversham defensive units in both halves cope well against the Dartford attack, in turn Faversham seemed to have the more of a cutting edge up front in the second half, which enabled Town to spent the percentage of the second half playing some free flowing football in the opponents third.
Dartford's resistence broke in the final five minutes of the game, now Faversham Town will face Ebbfleet in the next round of the Kent League Cup.
Adam Boswell, Ciaran Topham and Harry Sargent were outstanding for Faversham Town. James Hare capped a fine debut with his outstanding display alongside Johnathan Tumber in the heart of the defence.
