BRETT HARRISON was celebrating on
Saturday night after another win for the Reserves - and a crucial
goal for the gaffer!
Player-boss Harrison could have been
forgiven for fearing the worst when the prolific Gary Roberts was
drafted in to the first team by Terry Cordice.
Then this week, Harrison had to cope
with the loss of midfielder Bradley Maguire - also to the first
team.
But his rampant reserves still
managed their 10th win of a league season that has seen them lose
only once.
Harrison opened the scoring with a
15-minute penalty and Adam Whitehead wrapped up the points just
after the half-hour with a header.
They top the Premier Division of the
Canterbury and District League, one point clear of the George Hotel
in second place.
