FAVERSHAM Town’s junior players paraded their silverware at the last first team home match after scoring a terrific treble.

“It was a real team effort.” John Dickinson, U10s manager
Our Under 10s, Under 9s and Under 7s all won their Faversham & District Youth League festival cups to show how the club's youth policy is successfully developing future talent.
The U10s took the trophy after remaining undefeated, with four wins and two draws against Sturry Kings, Woodnesborough and Eastry Ravens at Hersden Primary School.
Manager John Dickinson said: “I was particularly pleased because every player had to play in at least two positions during the tournament, as part of their development. It was a real team effort.”
The Under 9s beat hosts Ashford Utd in a penalty shoot-out to take the Steve Ginger Memorial Cup.

And our Under 7s lifted the Faversham League festival trophy after equalizing to make it 1-1 with the last kick in the final – then winning another dramatic penalty shoot-out.
They beat hosts Strike Force on the way to the final against Herne Bay Juniors at The Mount.
Coach Mark Cheeseman paid tribute to his team’s fighting spirit after they battled back from going 1-0 down in both their opening games to win, then drawing their final group game to reach the final.
