FAVERSHAM Town Reserves player Sean Mchugh is hitting the headlines on Sky Sports - thanks to a wonder goal for the Lilywhites.

“Sean has been trying to score a worldy from distance all season.” Scott Greenway, Reserves Manager
His thunderbolt in the 5-2 win over Deal Sports Reserves is a contender for March’s grassroots Super 6 goal of the month and has now hit 1.2 MILLION views.
The screamer - which you can view on this page - is even featured in the advert for Sky’s Super 6 on Facebook and Instagram
Sean, a facade engineer for Cento Group who lives in Herne Bay, signed for the Lilywhites from fellow Kent County Division three side Woodnesbourgh in November.
The 25-year-old – a combative central midfielder who can also play centre-half - is the squad's oldest player after stints at Whitstable, Tankerton, Sittingbourne Community and Deal Town.
Reliving the goal, Sean said: “When I saw the ball dropping out of the sky, all that was going through my mind was: ‘I'm going to hit this.’
“It happened so quickly. I just went through the motions soon as I struck the ball I knew it was in, as you can hear from my scream.
“I never expected the goal to blow up as big as it ha,s but I'm not complaining and its putting Faversham Town Reserves on the map!
“I'm really enjoying my football at the club and am starting to fall in love with the game again after a couple of hard seasons. Scott and the gang are bringing the best out my game and I'm getting back to my best.”
Reserves manager Scott Greenway said: “Sean has been trying to score a worldy from distance all season – and all his previous attempts have only endangered the corner flags!
“He doesn’t even hit the target in training. But fair play, his persistence has paid off and what a way to score your first goal for Faversham Town.
“He did back it up with another good finish in our next game, so I will be expecting ten goals from him next season.
“Sean's our oldest player at 25 so it shows you how young our reserves are. His experience was just what we needed. He's been great on and off the pitch for the younger lads.
"We're looking for sponsors for next season - and if he pulls it off again, the exposure would be great publicity for anyone!”
Presenter Jeff Stelling and Arsenal legend Paul Merson will vote on Sean’s goal and the other three contenders this weekend.
You can keep up to date with Sean and Towns Reserves on the Town website and on Twitter @FResfc.
