DOUBLE JOY: OVERLAND AND BOURNE MAKE TEAM-OF-THE-WEEK

9 months ago By Thomas Reeves

BOTH Faversham Town goalkeeper Simon Overland and defender Matt Bourne made today's KentOnline team-of-the-week.

With the Lilywhites trailing 1-0, former Margate keeper Overland saved a penalty in Town's 1-1 draw with South Park, before Bourne popped up with a dramatic equaliser.

He volleyed in after home goalkeeper Callum Thomas had saved Danny Walder's initial effort on Saturday.

Between Bourne and Overland, the pair have made just under 550 club appearances.

Bourne is partnered by Ramsgate's Liam Dickson in the heart of defence with Nat Blanks and Dartford's Danny Harris named in the full-back positions.

Ebbsfleet United boss Daryl McMahon is named as manager of the week.
