The best way to keep up to date with Faversham Town F.C.

4 months ago By Brian Flynn

FAVERSHAM Town are looking for a coach to help train our new Under 14s girls’ team.

“It's a great opportunity.” Keith Chilvers, Youth Section Chairman
The eager squad train on Tuesday evenings on the 3G pitch at Abbey School in Faversham and are currently being led by our team of FA qualified coaches as they prepare for their first friendly games.
The club offers a good support network and is ready to pay for FA coaching qualifications and travel expenses for the right candidate.
Youth section chairman Keith Chilvers said: “The girls are absolutely loving playing together and we want to extend our coaching team by recruiting someone to specifically run the girls' team.
"The women's game has exploded in popularity, so it's terrific that the demand is clearly there from girls who want to play in the white and black of Faversham Town.
"We have a responsibility as a club to help provide football for all, and this is part of that.
“It’s a great opportunity for a coach who already has their FA Level 1 qualification and is looking to continue her, or his, development, or for somebody looking to get into the game and start their coaching journey at a great club.”
Anyone interested in joining our coaching team - or the girls' squad - can contact keith direct here or on 07770 933200.
