BOURNE LEADER: Matt makes team-of-the-week

By Thomas Reeves

LEGEND Matt Bourne has been named in today's KentOnline team-of-the-week.

The former Dover Athletic centre-back, making his 387th club appearance, was picked out as the pick of an impressive Faversham backline as the Lilywhites held runaway Bostik South East leaders Cray to a 1-1 draw on Saturday.

Danny Walder broke the deadlock from the penalty spot, after a spot-kick was awarded for handball, before Mitchell Nelson levelled the scores.

It came after Town team-mate Dave Cook was named in last Monday's team-of-the-week.

Also included in the side this week, managed by Chatham boss James Collins, are Faversham lad Jack Parter who plays for Tonbridge Angels, Dartford midfielder Lee Noble, ex-Town player Sam Bewick and Folkestone's former Premier League ace Johan Ter Horst.
