FAVERSHAM TOWN'S last game of the season away to Sheerness East will
kick off at 6.45 on Wednesday night.

Salters Lane chief executive John Webb ended days of speculation about
the possible start time after receiving official confirmation on Friday
afternoon.

It means the Lilywhites could be confirmed as champions by 8.30pm that
night but Webb wants the focus to remain solely on tomorrow's title
showdown against leaders Lewisham Borough.

He revealed: "I can confirm that the game will start at 6.45. A lot of
people have been asking so I'm pleased to clear the matter up for the
fans.

"However, it is important the lads don't get too far ahead of
themselves. First thing is first, we need a result against Lewisham or
the Sheerness East game will be a real damp squib."

The Islanders play on a pitch behind the Sheerness East Working Men's
Club at 47 Queenborough Road, Halfway.

Directions: Follow the A249 across the Kingsferry Bridge. Turn left at
Cowsted Corner roundabout and join the A250. At the next roundabout
take the third exit signposted Minster and Halfway.

The clubhouse is a further quarter of a mile further on the right hand side.
