The footballer turned TV star - who
won a new amy of fans on "I'm A
Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here" - entertained players, officials
and
fans of the Salters Lane club with amusing tales from his hell-
raising life.
Alan Shearer, Gazza and glamour girl
Jordan were all singled out
for special mention but commercial manager Ray Leader said the real
stars of the show were the punters who dug deep in the auction that
followed the four-course meal.
Steve Bassett led the way by
splashing out £1,000 on a golf day for
two with Alan Mullery and Ron "Chopper" Harris. The star
lot also
included expert analysis from the footballing legends while watching
England's World Cup clash with Trinidad and Tobago on TV.

Committee man John Griffiths paid
£330 for a beautiful limited
edition print of Liverpool legend Bill Shankly and Ollie Howe, a
regular at Town's fund-raisers, handed over more than £300 for a
signed photograph of Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard.
Ray said: "As always, we are
very grateful to our superb supporters
for making another of our fund-raisers such a success. Steve Bassett
loves Faversham Town dearly and we cannot thank him enough for his
generosity.
"And the two lads from our
reserves, Jason and Nathan, surprised us
all with their incredible gesture. It was quite a night.
"Razor is a real character and
he kept everyone amused. These
events are vital if we are to continue growing as a club and I'm
thrilled that we managed to make a profit of about £1,500."
