Due to circumstances beyond their control Maidstone United have been forced to withdraw from the planned pre-season friendly against the Lilywhites this coming Thursday.
Despite the short notice Faversham Town F.C. are pleased to announce that, Sussex League Division 1 side, Lingfield F.C. will travelling to Salters Lane in lieu of Maidstone on Thursday July 23rd.
The Sussex outfit are managed by Tony Beckingham who is no stranger to Salters Lane having had spells in charge of Kent Premier League sides Holmesdale and Croydon during the 2008 / 2009 season.
Please note that, in order to accomodate Lingfield's travelling time, the match will kick-off at 20:00
